Service and assessment requests

When you submit a service or assessment request, Hita stores the information you provide so the business can evaluate service availability, understand the project, prevent abuse, and contact you. This may include your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, requested service, current heat source, and notes.

Savings-calculator requests

You can use the heating-cost calculator without providing contact information. If you choose to send the result to Hita, the calculator assumptions and estimate are stored with your name, contact information, ZIP code, and consent. Calculator information may include your current system, annual usage or spend, energy-price assumptions, utility area, estimated heat-pump coverage, and calculated operating-cost range.

Care-plan requests

A care-plan request may include your service address, plan choice, indoor and outdoor unit counts, equipment details, contact consent, and acknowledgement that the request is not yet an active plan. Hita uses this information to confirm eligibility, service scope, price, terms, and the appropriate payment step.

Payment processing

When online payment is available, payment is completed on a Stripe-hosted page. Payment-card information is entered directly with Stripe and is not submitted through Hita’s forms or stored in Hita’s site database. Hita may retain non-card payment references and status information needed to match a payment to a care-plan request and maintain business records. Stripe handles information under its own privacy terms.

How information is used and shared

Request information is used to respond, plan follow-up, provide requested service, administer a care-plan request, maintain operational and legal records, and protect the site from misuse. It is not added automatically to a general marketing list. Information may be processed by service providers that support website hosting, secure storage, lead delivery, analytics, and payment processing, only as needed for those functions.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose “Allow analytics.” Analytics events describe page and interface activity. Names, phone numbers, email addresses, street addresses, ZIP codes, notes, and calculator inputs are not sent as analytics-event properties. Your analytics preference is stored on your device so the site can remember it.

Security and retention

Submissions are stored in the site’s server-side database and administrative access is restricted. Reasonable safeguards reduce risk, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the request, service relationship, business records, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and abuse prevention.

Your choices
